Friday night last at Marion, Ind, occurred the death of Mrs. Kate Webster, wife of Chas. E. Webster. Mrs. Webster will be remembered as Mrs. Kate Shevelin. She was married to Chas. Webster some 12 years ago removing with her husband to Marion, where he had a position in a county office and later became an official in the Soldier’s Home. She leaves a husband and one son, Wallace Shevelin. The remains were brought to this city Sunday and taken to the home of the mother of the deceased, Mrs. Wm. K. Wallace. Mrs. Webster leaves a mother, two brothers, John Wallace and WK Wallace and two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Fry and Mrs. Geo. Fitchey. She was born and raised in this city and had a wide acquaintance and many friends. The funeral occurred Tuesday. - kz
